I apologise but this post is gonna be a massive rant.
I am absolutely loving thigh high socks, they look absolutely awesome with a pair of grungey shorts, or just anything really.. For example…
However, there is nothing worse than having the circulation cut off in my legs because of my rather ample thighs… One size does NOT fit all. Not to mention the fact that it looks absolutely awful when you have a bit of elastic slicing through your leg fat. So, I went on a ‘plus size’ sock hunt. How many did I find? One. ONE sodding pair that go up to 14-16 which is hardly plus size, lets face it. Furious!! What? Because I have large legs I can’t friggin expose them?? Somebody need to make plus size socks, I really don’t think it’s fair and it can’t be that difficult.
In case you’re wondering this is the pair I found, they’re not particularly cheap for a pair of socks but they’re nice enough.

This frustrates me too. I spent many years only wearing knee high socks because I couldn’t find any that would fit over my legs; my other half did get me some that come up to about mid thigh though! I think they’re from ebay?
